Fitting Appointment FAQs
Do I need to bring anything with me to my appointment?
I would recommend that you wear your best fitting or most recent bra. I would also recommend bringing a plain, light coloured and slightly fitted top. This will let us see the the shape of the bra underneath clothing and the silhouette it gives. If there is a particular top or dress you need help finding a suitable bra for, then please feel free to bring this with you too so we can try different styles and help find the right bra.
Will I have to take my bra off for you to fit me?
No, you don’t have to take your bra off to be fitted but I will ask you to remove your top so I can see how your bra sits on your body. It’s actually easier for me to assess the size and fit when you’re wearing a bra as it allows me to see where your breast tissue sits and assess more accurately. Please note that I fit by eye and do not use a tape measure. Please wear your best fitting or most recent bra to your appointment.
Is there a lot of physical interaction?
There is a little physical interaction but I do keep this to a minimum. In order for me to assess the fit of the bra, I will check the fit of the band by running my fingers underneath it, help with hooks and I will also adjust the straps if required but it’s entirely your choice as to what you feel comfortable with. Once the bra is on, I will ask you to position yourself by scooping and swooping your breast tissue into the cups, which I will talk you through.
I’m not comfortable with showing my breasts. Will you still be able to fit me?
Of course! I always fit with the bra on the body and there is no need for me to see anything more than that. I can leave the room while you are trying on bras and pop back in when you say you are ready. I can also stay in the room with you if you feel you need some assistance – it’s whatever you feel most comfortable with.
I’m embarrassed about the state of my bra!
Please do not fret or worry about the current state of your bra. You do not need to apologise for this and I’m confident you will be walking out with some lovely new bras by the end of your appointment! Also, please do not apologise for body hair, lumps and bumps and weight that you think you need to lose or gain – your body is beautiful just as it is! It’s a privilege to be a bra fitter and for you to allow me into your personal space so please know that I’m not thinking about any of the above and am only concerned with getting you into well fitting lingerie that makes you feel good!
Do you accept card payments?
Yes, I accept card payments through Square. I also accept cash.
Is there parking available?

I look forward to welcoming you to the fitting room soon!
